
The first solution we have deployed for this direct insurer introduces a blend of text messaging and email to streamline communication between customer managers and their clients. Promotional offers and other alerts can be sent by managers as emails, but delivered to customers as text alerts. Customers can respond via text message – with a branded shortcode and the name of their contact – and the reply is delivered back to the manager as an email. It's quicker and easier for customers, and easier in terms of management and tracking for the customer management team.
